THE SOFTWARE
Visionmap is a software tool that can map the complex web of questions that faces your organization.
Whether it’s navigating through upcoming challenges or defining the ambitions that drive your organization forward, a Visionmap can provide a way to visualise all of this spatially and an entry point for the discussion.
Technically, it is a “3D Force Directed Graph”.
Visually, it resembles a starry sky, where each star represents a question.
The graph uses gravitational forces—inspired by Newtonian physics—to dynamically position each “question star” based on thematic relationships (the closer the thematic connection, the closer the stars appear to one another).
A Visionmap is highly interactive – users can contribute by adding new questions, rephrasing existing ones, or casting votes to highlight the most critical issues.
Stars—i.e. questions—shine brighter depending on the level of attention they receive.
Using VisionMap is akin to navigating the cosmos: a live, evolving map of your organizational landscape.

Constellations:
The Visionmap is divided into “constellations”.
Constellations are thematic areas predefined by your organization’s management in advance of the Visionmap process. These are the arenas where discussions are held.
Examples of constellations could be “Innovation and Product Development”, “Social Impact” or “Green Transition”
Conference or workshop sessions – whether online or physical – can take place within the constellations.
For online sessions, Zoom meetings can be initiated directly within the virtual constellations.
